As a Graduate Recruiter within Selby Jennings we can guarantee you two things.
1) That through our award winning in-house training team we will give you all of the knowledge, tools and theory on how to do recruitment, and be good at it. We teach you through classroom sessions, on desk training, one to one coaching and insight from senior management and directors on site.
2) Your manager will further enhance this through practical elements during the day to day aspects of the role by giving you that little bit extra, that when coupled with your hard work, ability to listen, learn, repeat and tenacity will give you the best possible chance of succeeding.
Recruitment is a sales role. You are selling your own recruitment services to potential clients daily through phone calls, emails and the occasional meeting (remember we are a global business we deal with clients all over the world). Once you have successfully won a client the 2nd aspect of your role is to then source, attract, screen and sell the job vacancies you have with your client to potential candidates.
This role is very phone orientated and does involve working hard and on some occasions long hours. Recruitment has a relatively simple equation; hard work + skill = career advancement & financial rewards.
What we offer our Graduate Recruiter's is unrivaled in the recruitment sector and our rewards includethe opportunity to earn 10K+ per month in commission from as soon as your 3rd month in the role ( as soon as you start invoicing). A Competitive base salary of $3500 per month & uncapped, transparent monthly commission.

Desired skills & Experience
For the Graduate Recruiter role no experience is necessary, although ideally you will have had some experience in Sales or Business Development and Financial Services & Banking knowledge is a plus.

You must also want to work in a fast paced sales environment in order to succeed as a Graduate Recruiter and be driven by targets, commission and progression.
The role involves long hours (830am-7pm roughly) in the office and candidates need to be committed to making money and building our company reputation in the market and across Asia. You will never be expected to work weekend and we pride ourselves on being efficient!
Finally as Recruiter you must be willing to spend a lot of time on the phone in the office to prospective candidates and clients
